Chicago Regional Seminar Set

The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) announced that the Regional Seminar Series has added another stop in our home of Chicago, Illinois. The seminar, “Building the Experience”, will take place on March 13 at The Odeum Sports & Expo Center in Villa Park. NAC members Sis Greco, ECM, of the Odeum and Pete Bakala of Gold Medal Products will host the event.

Earlier this week, the Seminar Series added Kansas City, Missouri on April 2 at the B&B Grain Valley Theater. Previous 2014 bookings include February 25 in Santa Fe Springs, California at Royal Corporation headquarters and April 23 in Dallas, Texas at the Wyndham Dallas Suites – Park Central.

The NAC Regional Seminar is a series of one-day educational programs designed for entry level managers, supervisors and those interested in concessions management. A perfect precursor to NAC’s Concession Manager Certification Course.

The intention of this seminar “Building the Experience” is to stress the importance of changing the mental image of the concession experience. The ability to retrain the consumer from the ground up as to the reliability, creativity and professionalism within the ranks of the recreational foodservice channel. About the Instructor:
Larry Etter, CCM, has over three decades of professional experience in the food and beverage industry, from positions with major hotel companies, foodservice contractors, and currently Senior Vice President of Theatre Services with Malco Theatres. He also serves as Director of Education for NAC.
