The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) has announced a content partnership with the Green Restaurant Association (GRA). The Associations will partner on social media content, educational curriculum and programming that can assist both group’s members and their respective bottom-lines as they promote sustainability, power efficiency and quality of life.

NAC looks forward to partnering with the GRA as we mutually investigate new and dynamic approaches to assist in member’s environmental impact while continuing to be good world citizens.

The GRA was founded in 1990 to green the foodservice industry. With the world’s largest database of green solutions for the restaurant industry, the GRA helps restaurants across North America, from a major football stadium to small mom and pops. The foodservice industry is the largest consumer of electricity in the retail sector. Operating in a more environmentally efficient manner not only can save money, but it also engenders more loyalty in staff and customers. The GRA provides a turnkey system to help concessionaires improve their environmental impact in energy, water, packaging, waste, chemicals, food, and building.

With its points-based certification system, the GRA has helped its Certified Green Restaurants® garner incredible press coverage. 79 percent of consumers prefer dining at Certified Green Restaurants®; and 78 percent of employees prefer working in them. Concessions are the public front of any attraction. Becoming a Certified Green Restaurants® is a smart business move for your bottom line and for maintaining and increasing brand value.
