The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) has named Theresa Boysen, ACS, ACE, as the new Regional Vice President of the Great Lakes Region. Boysen currently serves as National Sales Director-Theatre of Kernel Season’s, LLC. The Great Lakes Region includes Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio. The appointment is effective immediately.

Boysen has been with Kernel Season’s over 10 years holding various roles in Customer Service Management and even HR before making the jump to Sales. Prior to that, she was a Product Design Specialist for a local catering and party supply company. Her creativity and varied experience in food service operations, product development, and management have given her terrific understanding and perspective to help her customers achieve their goals and will be a great benefit to the members of NAC.

The primary focus of an RVP is to present NAC Educational Programs such as regional seminars, certification classes (CCM, ECM, ACS, and ACE) and other educational opportunities in their area. Boysen received her B.A. focused in Entrepreneurial Finance and Management from DePaul University in 2014 and recently completed her Allied Concession Executive (ACE) certification during the first online CCM course offering. Boysen said, “I have thoroughly enjoyed the educational programs NAC has to offer. Participation in these programs is essential to professional growth in our industry and I’m happy to be part of the team working to make training more accessible to our members.”

An active and involved member of NAC, Boysen also serves as the co-chair of the Outreach Committee. The committee is charged with expanding the reach and influence of the NAC Community and to involve all Operators and Vendors to improve the work of the Association.
