CinemaCon and Related NAC Activities Cancelled

Due to the cancellation of the 2020 CinemaCon, CLICK HERE FOR THE CINEMACON STATEMENT, The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) regrets to announce that all NAC activities at CinemaCon have also been cancelled or altered.

The decision by NATO and CinemaCon could not have been easy, but we congratulate and support the CinemaCon Team and the NATO Board for their concern for the show attendees.

NAC Activities include:

NAC Charity Golf Outing
The event benefiting US Variety the Children’s Charity; Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation; Variety Boys and Girls Club of East LA and the Capital Variety Tent originally scheduled for Monday, March 30 at the Bali Hai Golf Course has been cancelled. Talks are underway with the golf course and other vendors to determine the best course of action for Sponsors and Golfers. More specific information will be released in the days and weeks ahead. With all of the cancellations underway, we ask your patience as we sift through this very fluid and unprecedented situation and determine the best means to continue this very worthwhile activity in the future.

Board & Committee Meetings
Committee Chairs will be communicating with their members and will arrange a conference call.

Executive Committee Meeting
President Adam Gottlieb will hold a conference call on Tuesday, March 31.

Bert Nathan Award
We will honor Bill LeClair for his service to the movie theatre community during the NAC Concession & Hospitality Expo.

With more than 4 months until the NAC Concession & Hospitality EXPO in Orlando (July 28-31), we are still planning for a vibrant and exciting program. We will incorporate many of the activities that were planned for Las Vegas into our Orlando program. More details are forthcoming.
