NAC Issues Food Quality Statement
“In response to a recent story by ESPN on food quality in stadiums and arenas, the National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) issued the following statement:
“The businesses of our member organizations rest upon the public’s trust in our commitment to their safety and satisfaction. There is nothing more important to our industry than the health and well being of our guests. Collectively, our executives, chefs, managers, servers, and support teams strive to ensure high quality products and safe, reliable service.
Training in safe food preparation and handling, routine surprise inspections from local health officials, and ongoing third party audits are just a few of the measures in place to safeguard public health.
When there are issues, they are identified and immediately corrected, often in the presence of an inspector.”
