NAC Appoints Boutin to Board of Directors
The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) announced that Chris Boutin, Executive Director, F&B and Retail Categories, Revenue Management, Cineplex Entertainment LP, has been appointed to NAC Board of Directors. The appointment fills an existing vacancy on the NAC Board and is effective immediately.Boutin’s passion for the movie business extends back to his first job working a concession stand during the opening of Titanic. Thus began 22 years in the industry starting with two years with Empire Theatres followed by 22 years at Cineplex Entertainment LP. He has held numerous roles within the theatre ecosystem, including store operator, Regional F&B Manager, F&B Business Analytics, and currently oversees the F&B and Retail Merchandise strategy for Cineplex Entertainment.
During his time with Cineplex, he has been a key contributor in myriad strategic company initiatives and innovations that have helped push forward the out of home entertainment industry, both in Canada and internationally. He is excited to be able to offer his skills in analytical problem-solving, and his strategic and financial acumen to the NAC organization.
