Malco Springdale Cinema Grill To Debut August 4
Memphis-based Malco Theatres’ all-new Springdale Cinema Grill is scheduled to re-open Friday, August 4, 2017.
The theatre, located on West Sunset in Springdale, Arkansas, closed in May 2017 to undergo extensive renovations. The space has been modernized with luxury recliner seating in all auditoriums, a sleek, contemporary concession area with an expanded menu, retrofitted lobby area, upgraded screens and installation of Dolby 7.1 digital surround sound in all auditoriums.
Additional amenities such as reloadable gift cards, group discounts (select days and times), corporate rentals and worship space will also be available. For added customer convenience, lobby kiosks will allow for online/advance ticketing redemption, so patrons can “skip the box office line”.
Two other Malco locations in Northwest Arkansas are in the final stages of enhancements including the Rogers Towne Cinema and the Razorback Cinema in Fayetteville, both of which are undergoing a complete renovation to luxury recliner seating in all auditoriums. Future additional upgrades at all locations include a beer & wine bar, plus installation of a cinema grill for serving quick-casual gourmet fare.
“Malco is very excited about the re-grand opening of Springdale, as well as finishing up the renovation projects in Rogers and Fayetteville. Our wish is for these theatres to become a place for everyone in the community and surrounding areas to enjoy and be proud to have as part of the landscape”, said Jimmy Tashie, Executive VP of Theatre Operations.
Malco recently completed the renovation of the Ridgeway Cinema Grill and Wolfchase Cinema Grill locations in Memphis, the Forest Hill Cinema Grill in Germantown, Tennessee and is in the process of completing recliner conversions in Collierville, Tennessee, plus the aforementioned Rogers and Fayetteville, Arkansas locations.
Memphis, TN-based Malco Theatres is a fourth-generation family owned and operated business that reached its 100th anniversary in 2015. Malco Theatres operates over 350 screens at 34 locations across the Mid-South, as well as bowling and family entertainment centers in Louisiana and Mississippi.
