NAC Names Dan Herrle as Director of Education
The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) has appointed Dan Herrle, Assistant Vice President- Business Development- Food & Beverage at National Amusements, Inc., as its new Director of Education. Herrle steps into the role previously held by Larry Etter, who dedicated over 13 years to serving NAC and the industry in this position.
In this new role, Herrle will be responsible for enhancing the educational offerings of NAC, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and relevance for professionals in the concessions and hospitality industry.

As a seasoned industry professional, Dan Herrle’s extensive experience spans three decades. His roles have encompassed various aspects of operations, marketing, and business development, providing a comprehensive perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing entertainment food and beverage professionals.
Throughout his career, Herrle has been deeply committed to continuous learning and professional development. He has actively participated in industry associations such as the National Association of Theater Owners (NATO) and NAC, serving on government relations committees and holding leadership positions. These experiences have resulted in a broad knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.
He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the NATO Government Relations Committee, and is a member of NAC’s Government Relations Committee, NAC’s educational programs, chair of the NAC silent auction committee, former Vice President CATO and former Vice President Mid-Atlantic NATO. He has lobbied on Capitol Hill for the NATO fly-in, testified in State Senate Committee Hearings and sat on discovery panels to help shape legislation.
Herrle has garnered extensive experience with industry giants such as Cineplex Odeon, Neighborhood Entertainment, Regal, Muvico, Crown, Bow Tie, and presently, National Amusements. His journey includes pioneering achievements, notably spearheading the launch of Regal’s inaugural FunScape and overseeing numerous high-profile ventures within the industry. At National Amusements, Herrle’s role extends to elevating specialty segments within food & beverage operations, bolstering the core business, and assuming primary responsibility for non-traditional operations encompassing restaurants, live venues, fine dining, quick service establishments, and in-seat dining. Additionally, he manages pivotal partnerships critical to the success of National Amusements.
