NAC Names Two New Board Members
The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) has announced the appointment of two new members to the Board of Directors. Mark Dieffenbach, Director Specialty Channels of The Hershey Company, will become a Director At-Large. Olga Yourik, PhD, Associate Professor, ACE, ACS, Research and Development Director of Business Russia Group of Companies, will become a Regional Vice President (RVP) representing Moscow and Central Russia.Dieffenbach, who will also serve on the Government Relations Committee, brings multi-channel experience having served on the Board of Directors for the National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) since 2007 and as Board Chair from 2012-2013. He was named NAMA’s 2015 Industry Person of the Year and currently serves as the Chair of the NAMA Foundation’s Board of Trustees. In addition, Dieffenbach serves on the Government Affairs Committee of the Association of Fund Raisers and Direct Sellers (AFRDS).
Yourik brings a strong combination of practical career experience and academic pursuits to the RVP post. She has 24 years on the faculty at Moscow University, teaching students and being involved in scholar research. She has also served as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs. Her career includes stints with Golden Valley Foods (Moscow Branch). ConAgra (Vogel Popcorn), Russian Popcorn, (Russian Branch of ConAgra) and has been with Business Russia since 2000. Yourik has been a member of NAC since 2009 and has earned the Allied Concession Executive (ACE) designation.About NAC: The National Association of Concessionaires, founded in 1944, is the trade association for the recreation and leisure-time food and beverage concessions industry.
