Marcus Theatres opens renovated Chicago cinema

Marcus Theatres has completed a “multimillion dollar renovation” of Country Club Hills Cinema in suburban Chicago, the company said Tuesday.
The Milwaukee-based division of The Marcus Corp. purchased the 16-screen, 85,000-square-foot theater in April 2016 and re-opened it this month.

“Marcus Theatres is excited to join the Country Club Hills community,” said Rolando Rodriguez, president and CEO of Marcus Theatres. “With the opening of this new cinema, we’ve expanded our presence to six theaters and 100 total screens in the Chicagoland-area.
