Beach Concessions – Volusia County, FL – RFP


The beaches of Volusia County consist of approximately 40 miles of Beach beginning at the southern boundary line of Flagler County, Florida, and extending southward to the northerly limits of the Canaveral National Seashore on the east coast of Florida.  Vehicular driving on the beach is limited to approximately 15.6 miles of the 40 miles of Volusia County Beach. The Beach includes areas within the City of Daytona Beach, which is known as “The World’s Most Famous Beach” and is home to many special events such as Spring Break, Jeep Beach, the Daytona 500, and Bike Week.  Volusia County beaches are unique because they allow visitors to drive and park for the day directly on the Beach in designated areas.
 
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit competitive sealed proposals to provide Beach Concession services for the County of Volusia
 
The county will accept proposals to provide all services for the entire Beach, only the North Beach, or only the South Beach.  Proposals will not be accepted for individual concession locations or an individual service.

Additionally, we will be hold a MANDATORY Pre-Proposal meeting at our Lifeguard Headquarters and Administration Center located at 515 S. Atlantic Ave in Daytona Beach, Florida. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 10:00 am EST.
