QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition or similar degree required. Five years of food service management experience required. College and University food service experience required. Minimum of five years’ experience in college athletics preferred. Strong computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing are required. Candidates with experience serving the needs of diverse populations are strongly desired. Must be eligible to be employed in the United States. Position is subject to a criminal background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Direct Athletic Department Food Service operation to include budget management, food procurement, managing staff, menu collaboration, and development of mobile food service. Coordinate food service in Football Operations Building, Matthew Knight Arena, Nutrition bars and Jaqua Café for student athletes, staff and general public. Responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the Intercollegiate Athletics Department, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University of Oregon, Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
Develop menu for student-athletes in collaboration with Dietitian.
Forecast sales and budget for Football Operations Building, Matthew Knight Arena and Jaqua Café.
Oversee Jaqua Café Manager.
Maintain facility and equipment. Assemble, train and schedule staff
Research and develop opportunities to expand food service operation
