We are seeking a Concessions Manager whom shares our values and passion for the hospitality industry to join our team at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark.

Responsibilities:

* Directing and organizing the daily activities of the food and beverage concessions in order to maintain the highest standards in quality, service and merchandising
* Hiring, training and development of associates
* Preparing associate schedules which will allow for the appropriate service levels while controlling expenses in line with budget
* Maintaining proper inventory levels for scheduled events
* Ensuring accuracy and accountability of all cash handling procedures
* Preparing nightly forecast of revenues, labor cost and expenses to ensure financial goals are met
* Identify marketing opportunities and develop strategies to achieve greater sales volume
* Ensuring compliance with all NJ ABC regulations
* Providing a professional and caring work environment
* Adherence to company standards and service levels and ensuring that correct and consistent service techniques are demonstrated by all associates at all times

What we’re looking for:

* Minimum 4 years of concessions management experience in a similar venue
* Creative solutions and problem solving skills
* Exceptional customer service skills
* Ability to manage in a fast-paced and diverse environment with focus on client and customer service
* Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills
* Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook computer
* Flexibility with schedule and available to work nights and weekends
