Authentic Cajun Recipes Served in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. Alligator Sausage, Boudin, and Maque Choux are on the menu this season from Cajun Corner.
New Orleans, September 3, 2013: Cajun Corner has added authentic Cajun menu items to its already unique menu served in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. With the excitement of the start of the NFL season and the growing trend toward serving regional cuisine in ballparks and stadiums nationwide, Cajun Corner is committed to serving up authentic Cajun recipes to fans.
Great food has always been at the center of every celebration in Cajun Country, including celebrations less than a mile from the Mississippi River in the Superdome. Cajun Corner has served sizzling alligator sausage po-boys in the Dome for over 14 years now (long before alligator started showing up on trendy restaurant menus across the country). This season, fans can head to any level of the Superdome for favorites like the gator po-boys, Zatarain’s® Jambalaya, and Crawfish pies plus new additions Boudin, Corn Maque Choux and Spicy Boiled Potatoes.
Found in every tiny town in Cajun Country, Boudin recipes are as diverse as the ways people pronounce it. Now fans can enjoy bite-sized links of this sausage made of cooked rice, pork, onions, green peppers, and seasonings while watching their team. For Lagniappe, Cajun Corner added new side items: Maque Choux (pronounced Mock-shoe) which is creamy, rich stewed corn with bell peppers and spices and spicy potatoes boiled in Zatarain’s® crab boil.
Cajun Corner is family-owned and headquartered in New Orleans, LA. Cajun Corner has been serving authentic Cajun recipes in venues across Louisiana for over a decade.
