Concession & Hospitality Expo Checklist

The Concession & Hospitality Expo presented by the National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) is only weeks away. If you have not already done so, visit our EXPO page to register to attend this annual value-packed event with networking and educational opportunities combined with a trade show that represents The International Concessions & Hospitality Marketplace. The time to act is now to secure your registration and hotel room, and help NAC headquarters prepare for the event. This story is a checklist for items that you will want to consider as you make your plans to travel to Denver on July 15-18.

-In addition to registering for the Expo, you will also want to make your reservations at the Denver Marriott City Center. Click Here to Make Reservations

-Trade Show Hours:
Wednesday, July 16, 12:30 – 4:00 pm (includes lunch on trade show)
Thursday, July 17, 2:00 – 4:00 pm

-Trade show exhibitors need to fill out an exhibitor information form and return it to the NAC office ASAP. There is a form under the Show Information tab in the on-line exhibitor kit found at https://ordering.ges.com/016600060. This form is important because it allows for your exhibitor badges to be pre-printed and for up-to-date information about your company to be listed in the Expo program.

-Order any additional supplies or materials you need for your booth from GES. Your booth comes with a 6ft. skirted table, two chairs, a wastebasket, and side and back drapes. Booth materials and products should not be shipped directly to the hotel. The link to the GES online exhibitor kit for materials and shipping is: https://ordering.ges.com/016600060.

-Make sure you check out the NAC Shipping Program with PartnerShip as you make your plans for sending products and supplies to Denver. https://naconline.org/programs-services/nac-shipping-program/.

-Use the complimentary trade show pass found under the Show Information tab in the exhibitor kit and send it to your customers or potential customers. If they pre-register, they won’t have to wait to get a badge onsite.

-Goody Bags – Each full convention registrant receives a goody bag with product samples and/or gifts from our trade show exhibitors and sponsors. If you haven’t already committed to providing a product or gift in the goody bag, please do so now by contacting Barbara Aslan in the NAC office at 312-236-3858 or email baslan@naconline.org.

-Each trade show booth has the option of purchasing one full Expo registration at the special exhibitor price of $495. The registration includes three breakfasts, two refreshment breaks, two lunches, and two evening social events (Wednesday night at Howl at the Moon Dueling Piano Bar and Thursday night at Blue Sky Grill at the Pepsi Center), as well as all educational sessions and Venue Tours on Friday. This is a terrific way to network with our foodservice buyers outside of the trade show floor. To register, contact Barbara Aslan at 312-236-3858 or baslan@naconline.org.

– All attendees with an Exhibitor Badge or Full Convention Badge are welcome to the Tuesday night, Opening Night Reception. Spectacular food and beverages, entertainment and a silent auction benefiting the NAC Education Fund will take place from 7:00 – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 15. Make sure to pick up your EXPO badge prior to the reception because you will need it to gain admittance.

-Product Presentations: If you signed up for product presentations on Wednesday morning, July 16 at 11:00 AM, you will receive a separate email with your scheduled time and instructions.

– NAC member volunteers will pack up to 500 individual gallon storage bags full of candy, popcorn, etc. on Friday, July 18 at 8:00 AM. The bags will be filled with the many great products that will be seen at the NAC Trade Show the previous two days, so exhibitors and members are requested to provide extra product to fulfill the need for the local USO For more information please contact: Brenda Hamill at 303- 688-2020 or bhamill@naconline.org.
