Video: Hardric Accepts Krystal La Reese-Gaule Award
Tish Hardric, National Sales Manager-Theatre Division, at Great Western Products, accepts the annual Krystal La Reese-Gaule Membership Award for 2014. The presentation took place during the NAC Concession & Hospitality Expo at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati on July 23, 2015. The presentation was made by Brian Taylor, CEO of Kernel Seasons. The video is 11 minutes.
Hardric has once again captured the annual Krystal La Reese-Gaule Membership Award for 2014. The annual award is presented to the member who sponsors the most new NAC memberships during the most recent fiscal year. A year ago, Hardric and Adam Gottlieb, ACS of CCSI were named the co-recipients of the inaugural award.
Hardric recruited 12 new members in 2014 for an amazing total of 21 since becoming a new member herself in August 2013. An extremely active and valuable member and advocate for the Association, she received the prestigious Double Diamond Pin in September 2014 signifying sponsorship of 20 new NAC members. With this accomplishment, Hardric becomes one of only seven individuals, and the first woman, to reach this lofty status in the 70 year history of NAC.
The new members sponsored by Hardric in 2014 include: Robert Brunet, Fine Arts Management; Buzz Gelhaus, NAMCO Entertainment Inc.; Scott Hubbard, EC Cinema Supply; Glen Ohmit, Mid States Concession Supply; James Fitzgerald, Santikos Theatres; Bric Simpson, Kernel King; Kevin Hong, Dealflicks; Robert Case, New Pants Publishing; Kevitha Reddy, Athens Movie Palace; Shayne Walters, Synergy Direct Response; Brian Oleen, Samso Group and Rodney Alexander, Graphic Packaging Inc.
The award was established in memory of former NAC Board Member and industry friend Krystal La Reese-Gaule, who passed away due to illness in early 2013. As an active NAC member since 1996 and a great advocate for the Association, Krystal had sponsored numerous new members for which she received the Ruby, Sapphire and Four-Point Diamond pin designation. At the time of her passing, she was on the verge of reaching Double Diamond status. Following a career in concessions management with GKC Theatres, Krystal joined Kernel Season’s popcorn seasoning as its National Sales Manager in 2005. Known for her warmth, contagious smile and outgoing personality, she was a natural salesperson and quickly made a name for herself in the concession and movie theatre industries.
