NATO – Congress may be close to a legislative deal. Make sure movie theaters are included.

| September 30, 2020

Speaker Pelosi and Secretary Mnuchin are working toward a legislative compromise so that Congress can pass a COVID relief bill soon. As things stand, many movie theater companies will be left out of existing proposals that could form the basis for negotiations. The House bill that was introduced this week, HEROES 2, has very modest Paycheck Protection Program funding for companies with 200 or fewer employees, increased funding for EIDLs, and THAT’S IT.
