ECM Class Now Available Online!
The Executive Concession Manager program, available ONLY to NAC Concession Manager Certification graduates (CCMs), is a hands-on program for management and executive-level concession professionals and is now offered on-line! Registration closes on March 1!
The course, offered in association with the University of Memphis Kemmons Wilson School of Hospitality and Resort Management, builds upon the basic CCM course while providing specific tools and concepts that are needed at the executive level. There is no exam for the ECM course. Those completing the course may use the designation ECM (Executive Concession Manager).

The topics covered in the course include:.
I. Leadership – a review of what great leaders look like, how they perform and create more great leaders.
II. Case Study – a team project that will determine problems within a company and corrective actions to be taken.
III. Finances – how and why financial decisions are made.
IV. Negotiating – professional tips on negotiating
V. Request for Proposals – what to incorporate when writing a bid, and the mechanics of bidding and analyzing an RFP.
Coursework will include analyzing an actual RFP as well as making a bid.
