Celebrate National Popcorn Day – January 19!
The Entertainment Food & Beverage Association (EF&B) / National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) along with The Cinema Foundation remind you that January 19th is National Popcorn Day. Popcorn is an important and enduring staple of our business. In fact, NAC was founded as the National Association of Popcorn Manufacturers in 1944.
National Popcorn Day on January 19th is the perfect opportunity for movie lovers to catch up on Oscar-nominated films while enjoying discounted concessions and special promotions at participating theaters nationwide.
-National Popcorn Day kicks off the “@ The Movies” campaign, a year-long celebration of moviegoing organized by The Cinema Foundation. Quarterly events include Sneak Peek Saturday in April, Date Night @ The Movies in August, and Family Day @ The Movies in November.
-More than 30,000 screens across the U.S. will participate in National Popcorn Day celebrations, offering discounts on popcorn and other concessions. To find participating theaters and their offers, visit AtTheMovies.co or check your local theater’s website
-National Popcorn Day is presented by Fandango with Coca-Cola as a contributing partner. As a reminder, the rest of the campaign will include Sneak Peek Saturday (an exclusive look at upcoming films with behind-the-scenes cinematic content and sneak peeks following CinemaCon 2025) on April 19, Date Night @ The Movies (August 15) and Family Day @ The Movies (November 9).
