NAC Announces New Emeritus Membership Option
The National Association of Concessionaires (NAC) has announced a new option for retired or transitioning professionals in the Concession and Hospitality Industry. The new Emeritus Membership is in effect immediately and is offered to any former full or associate NAC member who is currently retired and not employed or acting as a consultant. The resolution was approved at the NAC Annual Board Meeting on July 11, 2017. The meeting took place at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in conjunction with the 2017 NAC Concession & Hospitality Expo.
Here is the full text of the resolution, which passed unanimously.
Be it resolved that the National Association of Concessionaires offer an Emeritus Membership at the price of $75.00 per year to all previous NAC members who have retired from their employment in the Concessions and Hospitality Industry. The Emeritus status is bestowed upon any former full or associate NAC member who is currently retired and not gainfully employed or acting as a Consultant in the Concession or Hospitality Industry. Once the individual re-enters the workforce they are eligible for Primary or Associate Membership dependent on their corporate affiliation.
