(Cincinnati, OH) – Selected to bring their signature Everything’s Fresh™ food and beverage service to River Downs, Ovations Food Services began operations at the horse racetrack on October 14th. Partnering with Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc., owner and operator of River Downs, Ovations will work to accomplish their mission “to make it bigger, better, cleaner and more enjoyable for the loyal fans that have supported the track in the past and the new race goers we intend to attract,” as explained by General Manager, Kevin Kaufman.
Ovations’ Chefs are already in the test kitchen creating new concession menu items as well as updating the Turf & Terrace Clubhouse menu with quality ingredients, improving presentation and taste.
“Ovations is looking forward to helping to create a one-of-a-kind guest experience by elevating quality and service through our Everything’s Fresh™ approach,” said Mark Pruett, Ovations’ River Downs General Manager.
River Downs, located east of Cincinnati, is undergoing a $200-million renovation to transform the facility into a Gaming & Entertainment Center complete with video lottery terminals, dynamic restaurants, a new clubhouse, VIP Lounge, additional parking and much more. The renovations are expected to be complete in Summer 2014. During this time, the Clubhouse will remain open for simulcast racing and dining.
