Ovations Gregosky Announces Retirement

September 29, 2014 (Tampa, FL) – Steve Gregosky, who has served as Ovations Food Services Senior Vice President of Business Development since October of 2001, and Senior Vice President of Client Relations since January 2014 has announced he will be retiring, effective Tuesday, September 30. Ovations Food Services is a nationally recognized food and beverage provider to over 140 public assembly facilities across North America and is a subsidiary of the sports and entertainment firm Comcast-Spectacor.

Gregosky is well respected within the contract management food service industry and is known for his creative and innovative approaches to problem solving and for helping business partners grow within their local communities. Before joining Ovations, Gregosky served as Vice President & General Manager of Stadium Operations at the PGE Ball Park in Portland, Oregon where he supported ownership in their conversion of the old Municipal Stadium to an exciting and energized multi-purpose venue incorporating many new innovations in a community venue with great civic pride. He also spent 12 years as Vice President of Western Operations for Service America Corporation managing over $80 Million of food service operations, providing guidance and leadership for many world-class events from San Diego to Seattle to Houston.

While developing, and creating innovative new programs for our clients at all of the venues we manage, Steve continued to represent us on a national level to attract new business opportunities for Ovations.”

Gregosky has been a dedicated volunteer and supporter of the local community wherever he resided, as well as a passionate supporter for education and the food service / hospitality industry. Gregosky has served as the Vice Chair for the San Diego Workforce Development Board, served as an instructor in the HRI curriculum at Ashland University and an instructor in the Service Business curriculum at United States International University, in San Diego. He has served as the Allied Committee Chair for the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) as well as the Allied Director at Large on the IAVM Board. Currently, Gregosky serves on the IAVM Foundation Board of Trustees and recently served on the Tampa Bay Feeding America Advisory Council.
